Our Approach to Sports Injury Care
Dr. Lewis is a graduate of Texas Tech University's Kinesiology program and completed Parker University's Sports Performance Program, where he received advanced training in manual therapy and rehabilitation for athletes. He's also the only provider at Apex Chiropractic who offers dry needling as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Rather than treating an injury in isolation, Dr. Lewis looks at how you move as a whole and builds a plan that combines hands-on adjusting, dry needling where appropriate, and individualized rehab exercises. The goal isn't just short-term relief, it's addressing what's actually driving the injury so you can get back to training without it coming back.
We don't rely on X-rays unless there's a traumatic injury or a red flag that calls for one, and your plan changes as your recovery progresses rather than following a fixed protocol.
Who This Is For
Dr. Lewis works with active adults who prioritize training and staying in the gym, as well as teen athletes looking to perform at their best in school and club sports. Whether you're dealing with a recent injury or something that's been holding you back for a while, this is exactly the kind of care he specializes in.
